Mitt Romney in ‘08?

Mass. Governor Mitt Romney (R) just pushed through a bill that would require all of his state's residents to buy health insurance. I'm not too thrilled about the government telling me how to spend my money, I'll tell you that right off the bat. I first heard about the news of the bill while watching [...]

I heard talk of the “United 93″ film trailer a few days ago. It’s a trailer that’s been pulled from some theaters near New York City because it was upsetting movie goers. Could you imagine sitting down to watch a movie such as “Ice Age:The Meltdown” only to relive the terror of Sept. 11, 2001? [...]

I came oh so close to getting a free cheeseburger today!
As Kevin and I were about halfway through our workout, I had an idea I thought would land me a free meal. The bet was whomever could bench press 205 pounds the most times would be treated to a Fudrucker’s burger by the other. I [...]

You'll notice a few changes in the Inkslinging.com layout. I am currently trying some new things, and all the tweaks aren't quite finished yet. One differences on the main page include my workout goals/weigh-ins have been moved to the "Profile" page. The top menu works just as it did before.

The season of Bonds

As the chase for No. 756 is under way, the Barry Bonds media-based entourage has reached new heights – much like his steroid-produced home run numbers. As I sat at work on baseball's first night of a full schedule, a 15-inch story (about 450 words) moved over the AP sports wire about his season's first [...]

Hey, get outta the way!

Yeah, so, it's been a few days, and I had one experience I wanted to share. As I was driving to work Thursday on HWY 33 (between Greenville and Chocowinity), there was something called a 'road survey.' Let me tell you, this was about the dumbest waste of time I've ever been witness to. The [...]
